No matter how much politicians and other officials try to deny it, the fact remains that there has always been a North South divide in England and it is not going to be fixed anytime soon. To be honest most of us northerners are quite happy with the way things are and we are not keen to have southern poofters, as Londoners have always been called, invading our space, especially when they come up to buy cheap property and then rent it out at southern prices, and usually to other people from down south. The easiest way to go about this is to sit down in front of your computer for a couple of hours and search through the websites offering properties in your desired location and within your price range. You can do this from anywhere in the country, andindeed from anywhere in the world, but it is advisable to make a visit before you buy.
