The Bom Jesus Basilica is the World Heritage site in Goa and it has the earthly remnants of St. Francis Xavier. After every twelve years the carcass is taken out for worship and for community to see.

The Goa State Museum and the Naval Aviation Museum are the imperative ones. Feni is the most accepted alcoholic drink in the city and is prepared from the fruit of the cashew tree.
