In case of letting property to the students, you should buy the property in localities which are nearer to the bus stop, university, market etc. it will help you to talk to a letting agent at an early stage about the tenants that would appeal to a particular property.

Furnished or unfurnished property

Landlord is not duty bound to furnish his house. It’s all up to the landlord whether he wants to furnish his property or he wants to leave it unfurnished. But getting good results in tenancy the landlord will have to take guidance from the agent that what kind of property tenant likes.

Staying in touch with the tenant

Being a landlord you have to keep in touch with the tenant. In this regard a landlord should maintain the good relationship with the tenant that tenancy agreement can run efficiently. This will help you in the long run. If some issues might be occurred in future then they could be resolved without expensive legal actions.
