The Importance of Creating Fast Loading Websites

All of us love to have highly impressive websites with high aesthetic appeal. In an effort to make websites interesting and engaging, heavy flash elements were used one time. Today if you closely observe the latest websites on the internet, you will hardly come across any websites with Flash intros or flash headers. Complete Flash websites are totally out of fashion. There is an important reason why Flash websites and Flash components are slowly losing their popularity and use. Today it is not enough just to have a website with aesthetic appeal. It is very important that you have a website that performs well in the top search engines. Search engines like Google look at websites that take a long time to load with contempt as such websites eat up the search engine resources.

So such websites do not easily get good ranking. Loading time is one of the highly crucial ranking factors for Google and other top search engines. Adding Flash components will slow down your website terribly. Whether you have a Flash intro or a Flash header, it will take a considerable amount of time for your pages to load. This is one of the reasons why Flash components are becoming less popular these days. Website owners realize the importance of having a website with good performance than a website with just good looks.

Fast loading websites will have added advantage with the search engines as search engines find it easier to index such websites. Even the most advanced search engines such as Google cannot understand the content of Flash files. This further affects the SEO value of the pages. Flash pages, Flash elements and graphic elements are not search engine friendly. On the other hand, slow loading websites not only have problems with the search engines but they are also not user friendly. Internet users will not be patient enough until your web pages load. You will be unnecessarily losing a lot of visitors if you happen to have a slow loading website.

Before you make your website accessible to the public you must check whether your website is user friendly by loading your website with different internet speeds. This will help you optimize the website’s loading time. Webmasters that did not pay attention to this detail learnt their lessons the hard way. You should not make the same mistake and put your website to disadvantage. If you hire an experienced website design company they will take care of all such problems and they will make sure that your website loads fast. By minimizing the graphical elements in each page loading time can be improved. Moreover, images used should be optimized for web purposes without losing their quality. Not every website design company has adequate experience in these matters. They may have good design skills but when it comes to creating search engine friendly websites, they may lack the required experience. When you are choosing your website design company the next time review their experience carefully.
