Major animals found in this park include tigers, leopards, buffalos, jungle cats, fishing cats, leopard cats, barking deer, sambar deer, hog deer, spotted deer, sloth bear, Himalayan black bear, wild dogs, Indian grey mongoose, goat-antelopes, Chinese pangolins, Indian pangolins, martens, otters, langurs, monkeys, etc. During night sounds of owls and nightjars also can be heard here. In the summer, tourists can easily spot herds of wild elephants in the park. Indian python and crocodiles are also found at this reserve. Indian python found here is a dangerous species that is capable to killing even a deer.
