You should be law abiding and have no records of criminal activity, be in good health and you should not be a risk to the security of Canada. The Canadian immigration authorities will access you to determine whether they believe you will likely returns to your country after completion of your studies in Canada.
To be eligible for a student visa Canada you must have the following documents:
Completed application form
Supplementary questionnaire for students and postdoctoral researchers
Official letter of acceptance from Canadian institute
TOEFL scores if applicable
Photographs
Passport valid for the duration of your studies
All educational documents for your previous studies
Police clearance certificate
Confirmation of any scholarship, including name of the providing institution or organization, amount and duration
