Tier 4 Student Visa and UK Business Visa

Student can apply as adult students under tier 4 visa of the points based system if they come to UK to study higher education. Tier 4 student visa has different categories which include the following:

• Tier 4 child -you can apply as a child student under the point based system if you are between 4 and 17 years old. If you are between 4 and 15 years old, you must be coming to the UK to be educated at an independent fee-paying school.

• Child visitor; you can apply as a child visitor if you are 17 years old or under and you want to come and study in the UK for up to 6 months. You cannot switch and apply for a tier 4 (child) students’ visa while in the UK as a child visitor. If you want to apply for a tier 4(child) students visa, you must apply from your country.

• Tier (general) student; you can apply as an adult student under tier 4 (general) of the points-based system if you are coming to the UK for your post-16 education.

• Student visitor - you can apply as a student visitor if you are 18 years or over and you want to study for up to 6 months and you do not want to work. You cannot switch to a tier 4 student visa. If you want to study for an English language you may apply for a student visitor visa for 11 months.

• Prospective student - you can apply as a prospective student if you want to decide which course to study or if you plan to start a course of study within 6 months. You can switch and apply for a tier 4 student visa while you are in UK.

You can come to the UK for a trip whether for a short trip, conferences and business meetings and official business with the UK business visa. UK business visa is for those who are ready to settle in the United Kingdom for the purpose of establishing and managing a business. You should be able to invest in order to qualify for the business visa. You may also be able to apply for your spouse and children to accompany you as dependants for this visa and even be considered for naturalization as British citizens. There are different types of UK business visa which includes tier 1 entrepreneur, tier 1 investor, tier 2 work permit business visa and tier 2 visa intra company transfers.
