Kuta Beach is a popular beach resort near the town of Kuta, southern Bali, Indonesia. Kuta Beach has become associated over the years with surfing, swimming, snorkelling, and a vibrant nightlife scene. Tourists come to Kuta Beach throughout the year, but July and August, and the Christmas and New Year holidays, are the busiest seasons.
AJ Hackett Bali
The AJ Hackett Bungy Tower is one of the instantly recognisable features on the Kuta Beach skyline. The tower has been in operation on Kuta Beach since 1995. Originally constructed in Australia, the tower was then shipped to Kuta, to serve as a bungee jumping tower.
The AJ Hackett Bungy Tower rises to about 45 metres and can be ascended by lift. Bungee jumping from the tower has become one of the major rites of passage for many tourists visiting Kuta Beach. If you are tempted to try bungee jumping, it is always advisable to book in advance, because its popularity means it is constantly busy.
The Bungy Tower operator offers afternoon jumping, when the views are clearest and the weather is typically sunny and bright. Early evening jumping allows you to catch the wonderful sunsets, or night jumping to liven up your party.
