Make sure to plan your mode of transport in advance, as this area is not serviced from downtown by the Metrorail: buses are the best way to get there.

Their exhibits range from the world’s smallest insects to the largest spacecraft ever built: the best thing about these museums is that admission is free. With 19 museums and an estimated 137 million objects, it’s impossible to see everything. So make sure to plan ahead and research which museums you’d like to visit. If you’re heading to the capital for the Christmas holiday, make sure to visit the museum on another day, as its closed December 25.
