South Tyrol is located in the northern part of Italy on the border with Austria. There is a very large German speaking population here thanks to its location. Skiing and snowboarding is the most popular during the winter. In the summer, there are plenty of hiking trails for horses and people alike. If you love the outdoors, then Tyrol is a place you must visit with your family.
