Port Blair in Andaman Isalands Has Many Interesting Spots to Visit
Andaman Nicobar Islands territory is part of India and it lies in eastern direction in Bay of Bengal, and a beautiful holiday resort with Beaches, Museums, Monuments, Picnic Spots, and sometimes with native festivals entertaining the visitors in an Andaman travel.

Chatham is a tiny village island, which connected with Port Blair by a bridge over a stretch of sea-water and is also functioning as the mainland –Island’s major harbor, while there is another harbor Haddo is nearby. There is a Saw Mill in Chatham included in Andaman tourism package which was once famous as the biggest saw mill in Asia and that was during British time. In this Saw Mill, visitors can walk through seeing the items of a small museum exhibiting the lumbering activities through scale models and also the decorative pieces made of famous woods, such as Padauk, Marble, Peauma, Gurjan, Satin Wood etc. Wood material from Andaman Islands were considered famous those days.
The next place to visit in Port Blair during Andaman travel is Samundrika Naval Maritime Museum located opposite Andaman Teal House, Delanipur, which exhibits different aspects of oceanic scenario and there is a display of variety of shells, corals and color fishes, giving good learning scope for visitors in Andaman tourism travel.
Another place to visit here is the Anthropological museum which gives good information on various tribes that had occupied Andaman Islands, which include Negroid and Mongoloid known to have occupied Andaman Islands for centuries together.
Among the beaches, Andaman Tourism Complex of Corbin’s Cove is one of the most beautiful beach resorts, where one enjoys sea bathing and sun-basking, besides excellent hospitality from the eat houses close by, such as The Wave Restaurant, The Peerless Resort and Hombill Nest Guest House.
