Golfing in Puerto Rico – an Unbeatable Mix of Challenges and Pleasure

For the diehard enthusiasts of the 18 holes, Puerto Rica can be the ultimate golfing destination. The killer combination of its natural environment such as the lakes, rivers, large mountains and liberal swatches of beachfronts and the challenges of negotiating courses designed by the biggest names is simply irresistible. The Trump International Golf Club in Rio Grande has a setting that can take your breath away. It is the setting for the famous PGA Puerto Rico Open and can test the best players with its complex setting and challenging courses. The Dorado Beach Resort and Club is every golfer’s dream come true. The coastal setting is spectacular while the multiple par 72 courses a challenge that every golfer likes to take head on. The 4th hole on the east course has been dubbed as one of the top ten holes in the world by golfing legends.

The West Course is designed by the famous Trent Jones and its par three holes are said to be the toughest to negotiate. The Sugarcane Course and the Pineapple Course offer golfing experiences that make you come back for more. The nearest 18-hole golf course from San Juan is the Bahia Beach Golf Club.
