The Invention of Typewriter- a Brief
The concept of computer is a new one compared to the typewriters. These are the old computers which were used massively even some years back. With the advancement of computers they are not much in use today. But they are not extinct till now. You may find things being typed using typewriter and the implication is more in case of legal documents.
Today having a typewriter in a home is a matter of pride as they are part of antique collection. typewriter was the first thing that introduced fast printing while writing. The writer has keys of each alphabets and digits and when you press the keys it prints the respective character on a medium such as a thin paper. The typewriter that you see today has evolved thanks to designs of different developers. In origin it was a big machine with simple but limited interface. It may not be very easy to say when the typewriter was first created but in 1714 a patent was taken for a machine that looked like a typewriter. The typewriter in its original form was invented in 1808 by Pellegrino Turri of Italy. Carbon paper was also invented by the same person in order to provide ink for printing.
Then it was the turn for typograph invented in 1829 which was patented by William Austin Burt. The revolution did not stop after that. Rather it took pace in the latter half of the 19th century and the first quarter of the 20th century. Different company invented different types of typewriters which were more convenient to use and more efficient in work. The designs became more complex while the typing because simple. The presence is still felt in the business and the economy of the world.
