However, finding the suitable sign for your business makes the best. Of course if it’s an outdoor project where your LED display will be exposed directly to sunshine, higher brightness makes your LED display stand out. But if the installation location is under some shelter or inside, you do not need such a high luminance. Besides, higher luminance means higher energy consuming which will increase you unnecessary cost if high brightness is not actually needed.

2. The smallest pitch is what we need.

Yes the smaller the pixel pitch is, the clearer the images will look on the LED display sign. People are normally amazed by how exquisite the sign can be when they see a small pitch LED display such as P7 or even lower. Nevertheless, it might not be what you need. If the LED display has a large size and the audiences will look at it in a far distance, for instance in a sport field, the small pixel pitch doesn’t really help. On contrary, if it’s an outdoor LED display, small pitch can make the display less bright than bigger pitch. Plus, small pitch signs are normally much more expensive. You may end up spending twice as much as your actual need if you insist pursuing the fancy effect of small pixel pitch.

However in reality, the fluctuation of current, weather condition, humidity, the connection to PCB etc. will have a huge effect on the real life span of the LED light. So don’t really expect that your LED display sign can last for 11 years without any light out.
