Cotton sarees were mostly hand woven earlier but now we find them majorly machine woven but still in some remote parts of Bengal one can find the traditional weavers who weave sarees by hand.

But cotton sarees are specially a boon for thin people as they provide a plump look to them. Jute cotton, Kora cotton and Khadi cotton are some of the varieties of cotton sarees.
