Apple iPhone 4S

The iPhone 4S, the latest iPhone addition after the iPhone 4 has equipped the I Phone with a voice recognizing and talking assistant called Siri, personal computer independence, cloud sourced data (iCloud) and an improved camera system. It has also been equipped with a higher resolution camera- 8 megapixels and an improved video recording system. The iPhone 4S also has additional features such as face detection and video stabilization with a faster dual core processor and a multi-standard wireless support system. The iPhone 4S is available in both, 16 GB and 32 GB, as well as a new 64 GB capacity. The iPhone 4S is a multipurpose phone which can be used both as an iPod as well as an iPhone. The phone is equipped with a memory of 512 MB of RAM.

The iPhone 4S, as its earlier model iPhone 4, is a touch screen slate smart phone which is mainly used for media purposes, i.e. books, movies, games, music and for general web browsing and email functioning. It has a dual-core Apple A5 processor that is far superior than the single Apple A4 processor that is used in the iPhone4. The iPhone 4S also has an improved hardware and software updates compared to the previous iPhone 4.

The phone, as the previous iPhones is controlled by the touch of the fingertip and is sensitive to human touch. It is a combination of a hand held computer, cell phone, GPS, digital/ video camera and a music player. The device is powered by rechargeable lithium – ion battery and is supported by an online infrastructure.

It is the first iPhone that does not have to be connected to the computer in order to be activated on its initial software. It also uses a superior gaming chip called the Apple A5 system on a chip, a device that uses the same Imagination TechnologiesPowerVR SGX graphics processing unit. The device used uses a dual-core model, i.e. the SGX543 that is integrated with the Apple A5 SoC in a similar manner as it is for the iPad2.

The most interesting feature or highlight of this iPhone is it automated voice control system, Siri, a system that allows the user to give commands to the iPhone to execute and respond to. For eg: You may ask the iPhone, “How the weather is today?”, and you will get a response matching to the weather on that day.

Texting can also be done using the aid of a voice assistant, enabling speech to text; thereby making it easier for those people who are driving, exercising or have difficulties reading. The iPhone 4S is capable of working on both GSM and CDMA networks making it the most sought after and sophisticated cellular device and iPhone ever.
