A Pottery Vase as an Exclusive Gift to Present
If you are going to take the trouble of buying someone an exclusive gift then why not make it something that they will absolutely treasure. That is, why not go ahead and buy them a pottery vase? It’s a beautiful ornament that also serves a functional purpose, and it’s something that everyone needs.
If you are going to all the trouble of getting some flowers then why not make sure they have a good vase to put them in. I mean, it kind of defeats the whole purpose of buying someone beautiful flowers and then putting them in an empty milk jug or the like. That’s why I usually buy a pottery vase to go with the flowers I buy for family or loved ones. They’re relatively inexpensive and very easy to find.
In fact, pottery vases are so pleasant to look at that you don’t even need to put flowers in them. My mother has a few of these vases and she displays them in their own right. It all really depends on the quality of the vase that you buy. You can find some with polished stones or chips of glass embedded in them, there really is no limit to the way pottery vases can be accentuated.
In addition to the beauty of single vase, a collection of such vases can really liven up a room or event. For example, a few weeks ago I went to a wedding and there were a dozen or so of these vases holding a variety of flowers. It really made the room dazzle. Not to mention that when you have that many flowers it makes the room smell like a little piece of heaven. This is all to say that if you are going to get someone an exclusive gift why not make it a pottery vase. After all, that’s kind of the point of exclusive gifts isn’t it: to make it stand out and represent how much you truly value the relationship you have with that person. At least it is for me.
All told, if you are considering buying a vase made from clay, whether it’s as an exclusive gift or not, you should observe a simple few guidelines. One, make sure that the vase fits the decor of the house where it will be showcased. There’s no reason to buy something beautiful and then stick it where it doesn’t fit. Two, consider buying the vase with ornamental features such as embedded glass or stone. No matter what though, if you are buying this as an exclusive gift know that the person receiving should absolutely love it. If they don’t then you know it’s not because you bought a bad gift or anything.
