Why to Plan for Stag Weekends at a Foreign Location
Author: hostarticles | Posted: 01.05.2012stag weekends were popular among the European bachelors in the seventies and the eighties era. However, from mid 90s, the popularity has started to spread among bachelors residing in other continents as well. Europe is a small continent filled with loads of beautiful places. Each country features for some of the most scenic towns and cities. England, Spain, Portugal, Netherland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, etc. are some of the most visited countries by global tourists.
If you are residing within Europe, then planning for a stag weekend party may not be difficult. Simply pick a destination and plan the party accordingly. If the outing is only for a weekend, then pick up a destination that is close to your residential city. It should not take more than four to five hours on travelling. Eight or ten hours of journey will definitely be hectic and will waste a lot of time from staying in the destination place. Focus should be on spending most of the time within the destination place. Time is limited. Hence, you need to act fast. If train facility is available, then avail it. However, no travelling mode will be faster than air. But, if the option of air is not available, then it is always better to take the rail route.
Hiring a car and heading towards the destination is always better, only if the travelling takes around a maximum time limit of 4 hours. Anything more than that will become quite tiresome. While planning for stag do activities, it is necessary to focus on your skills and expertise. Never opt for an activity that you are not comfortable with. There is no need to show heroics. Rather, opt for events and activities that are less risky in nature and can be easy to perform.
