Electro house music is the genre of music which originated in the early 1980s in the city of Chicago. In its initial years, this music was popular only in discotheques and loud parties, but after several years it started spreading to other parts of the world. And within a very short period of time, the Electro House Music gained so much popularity that it became a part of the mainstream pop and dance music all across the globe.

Basically, the early electro house music was more of dance based music. Although, it was very similar to disco music in all its characteristics, the focus of electro house music was more on its structured and repetitive electronic rhythms. The house music has undergone a lot of changes in all these years and the electro house music of today has a lot of variations in terms of style and influence while keeping most of its core elements intact.

Similarly, another genre of electronic dance music is the Drum and Bass Dubstep. This form of music originated in the United Kingdom and is known for its bass lines and reverberant drum patterns. The early form of drum and bass dubstep was more experimental and darker, released mostly by the UK garage producers. The dubstep music is generally instrumental with minimal amount of vocals. In today’s times, this music genre has gained too much popularity throughout the world. Most of this popularity came in the form of assimilating the elements of the drum and bass dubstep into other genres. It was similar to what artists like Britney Spears did with their songs which became an instant hit in 2007.

Hence, the early forms of music which had a high concentration of beats, drums, rhythms and bass structure along with occasional vocals are still very much popular with the people of all age groups.
