Canvas stretcher bars or stretcher bars for your canvas are constructed in the form of a wooden frame. These are used by artists that wish to mount their canvases. Traditionally, these are in the form of a wooden framework support on which you can fasten your canvas. The Heavy Duty/Midi will save you quite a lot of money and these come in sizes 1 ½ “ depth and width. The Super Heavy Duty Stretcher bars are the big daddies and these are excellent if you have a huge canvas. The size of these bars is 1 ½ “depth and 2” in width.
