After a couple of days’ rest, it’s time for you to start thinking ahead – Valentine’s Day; the first half term of the year; and then the run up to spring and the new holiday season. First item on your list should of course be a professional carpet cleaning.
Your carpets take a more than usually savage beating over the winter holiday season. In general terms the weather is less fine, so punters tend to stay inside for a whole evening, whereas in the summer they would be out on balconies and patios as well – spilling their drinks and nibbles in a less absorbent environment!
January’s carpet cleaning will steam off all those tiny crumbs of mince pie and canapé, and dislodge the festivities’ drink stains too. Tiny particles of party streamers, glittery makeup, wine-soaked napkins: they’re all in there, and if you don’t get them out while you have the chance they will still be there at the beginning of the summer!
Now your accommodation and meal deals are done for a couple of weeks it is time to make the transition from the lights and colours of winter to the theme you have planned for the run up into spring. Make sure you have your carpet cleaning commissioned for the right window of opportunity. You don’t want to have your carpets cleaned before you strip the fake snow from the restaurant windows, for example – otherwise you’ll start off the new season with fresh flakes of dried foam sinking into the pile!
So give your premises its own festive present this year. Make sure you book post-festive carpet cleaning and give it a real top to bottom spruce up before the new season!
