Live music

Filipinos pride themselves on their ability to sing and play musical instruments and a great number of the entertainment venues throughout the city support live bands, especially in the early hours of the evening. Just about every style of music imaginable can be heard here and while a large number of local bands play covers of popular rock and pop tunes, other types of music that can be heard in Cebu include jazz, blues, reggae and salsa.
