The glamorous looking and stylish fitting costumes the Toreador's wore in these battles are here too along with some of the not so glamorous evidence still upon them. Some have the stains of blood from injuries sustained during the fight but the worst one's are the costumes with huge holes and massive blood surrounding these holes from some poor Toreador being gored maybe even to his death.
The Nazca Lines have long been a place of intrigue and mystery. For centuries people like scientist's and archaeologist have tried hard to figure out the lines mysterious beginnings and who actually made them and when. This was to no avail though as these things still are not known. There are three hundred shapes which are geometrical in their patterns and 70 animal and plant like shapes or as they have been deemed biomorph designs.
One of the most exquisite of these is the condor bird whose span of the wings reaches out an alarming 426 feet in width. The cutest some think is the monkey with the curly-cue tail. Signs warning of the dangers involved with trespassing on these is clearly marked with land mine signs. Due to the chance of harming these lines no one is allowed on or near them.
The Rio Urubamba Valley has many adventures to go on and even some of the best craft markets of the area. Local Peruvian's know this area as the Sacred Valley. The markets here hold treasures hand made by local artists and craftsman like ceramics, jewelry, clothing and so much more. Andean villages are also located here for you to walk around and discover.
More archaeological fun awaits you in the Pisaca and Ollantaylambo Inca Citadel's. Artifacts from around this Sacred Valley region can be viewed in amazing displays within.
