Make My Trip is online travel company. It has a vast range of products including deals on flight, hotels, complete travel packages, flight and hotel deals,bus tours, rail tickets, MICE etc. Make My Trip has tie ups with both domestic and international air carriers.

For getting airline tickets, you can use the search portal. Fill in details like domestic or international flight, from and to location, travel dates, one way or round trip or multi city, number of adults and children and then search for flights. A list of airline carriers will be shown with departure and arrival location, fare type, duration and quote. The fare is shown for all major airline carriers including Indigo, Air India, Kingfisher, Jet Airways, Spice Jet, Jet Konnect etc. The flight could be non-stop as well as multiple stops. If a flight has more stops, it’s usually cheaper than a direct flight. If you choose same carrier for entire journey, you may also get additional discounts. You can choose flights and fill some details. The details include travelers name, seat preference etc. You can then proceed to the payment gateway and make payment using net banking, credit card, debit card etc. You have the option of cancelling or changing the flight date. However an additional fee is chargeable which can be checked from refund policy of each airline. You can check refund policy of each airline when you are searching for flights. If you want to change flight, you will have to cancel earlier booking and get a fresh booking. You can visit customer support for online cancellation of ticket. The cancellation charges are quite high and some airline carriers do not have any refund policies as well.

The eticket is sent to the chosen email address within 30 minutes along with payment receipt. For international bookings, eticket is sent within 3 days of booking. Another alternative to get eticket is to log into your Make My Trip account and visit Customer Support link. Click on print eticket and enter booking ID and contact number provided at the time of booking.

Before visiting airport for your flight, do remember to take any of the government issued identification papers with you like PAN card, Passport etc. These are required along with eticket at airport security and airline counter. When you present airline counter with your ticket, a boarding pass will be issued.
