Traditionally taking place between June and July, the London Festival of Architecture fills London hotels around the city to the brim with architectural enthusiasts from around the world. Whether this is your first time to the festival or your tenth, as soon as you leave your London hotel and head out to the streets you are participating in a celebration of architecture that is unmatched. 2010’s festival is shaping up to be one of the best in years as the city gears up for the 2012 Olympics which are being hosted in London. Regardless of whether you are an amateur or a professional architect, be sure to book your London hotels far enough in advance so you can enjoy the festival.

Started in 2004, the Festival of Architecture drew a crowd of 15,000 participants its first year, and as you could see from the individuals in London hotel rooms during last year's event, those numbers have only grown over the years. In 2010 there will be architects from all over the world celebrating architecture as communities in London begin building new facilities for the upcoming Olympics, and regardless of which London hotel you are staying at you will have first-hand access to the festivities. Many of the London hotels throughout the city will be getting a facelift as well, and everyone is invited to take part in the debates to find ways to make better places to live, work and play. The Festival of Architecture takes place from 19th June to 4th July 2010.
