Liverpool Airport Facilities
Author: DirectRooms1 | Posted: 29.11.2011When you stay at a Liverpool Airport hotel, you can take advantage of some of the fantastic facilities available in the terminal building. These include financial services, family-oriented facilities, facilities for the disabled and special arrangements for business travellers.
In the main arrivals concourse, there is a helpdesk that will sort out any problems you may have, as well as a nearby tourist information desk, which will be especially useful to first time visitors to the city of Liverpool, and they can help with car hire, hotel reservations and such.
Financial services are well represented with cash machines throughout the building and four Bureaux de Change outlets at strategic points in the terminal, including one conveniently situated in baggage reclaim.
There are many food outlets in Liverpool Airport on both sides of security, and in addition to the two main Food Villages, there are a number of smaller independent outlets for drinks and snacks.
The airport is child and baby friendly, the restaurants having kids’ menus and high chairs and nappy-changing rooms next to the toilets. There are also a few play areas with seating for adults.
The business traveller can take advantage of Wi-Fi internet in the executive lounges and meeting rooms, and there are other hot spots throughout the terminal building, and pay-points if you are not travelling with your own laptop or handheld device.
Facilities for the disabled include wheelchair access throughout the airport, disabled toilets and porter assistance. There is also an ambulift for boarding aircraft and disembarking, and guide dogs are allowed inside the terminal building.
