Travel towards the top of the Q1 building, which is the world’s tallest residential tower standing at an impressive 230 metres high. Take the speed lift, which will take you to the top in less than 43 seconds. Once at the observation deck on the 77th floor, you will experience commanding views over Gold Coast. Why not stick around for a while and have a drink at the QBar whilst enjoying stunning views? Hotels in Gold Coast are in abundance, and being in such close proximity to many of the attractions and activity venues means you can even do more sightseeing.
Take a tour of one of Australia’s most iconic breweries, Castlemaine Perkins Brewery, which was established 130 years ago. At the end of the tour, enjoy the taste of an authentic Australian beer.
Surfing, which is a huge part of the culture in Gold Coast, attracts many of the world’s best surfers. Take a trip to Surf World Gold Coast to have knowledge of the history of this well-loved pastime. Artefacts dating back to 1915 will allow you to chart the history of surfing and to view old pictures and memorabilia.
Have a self-guided tour at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! The museum has a great number of artefacts ranging from pieces of rock from Mars to rare Egyptian artefacts. This museum is a popular venue for a family day out.
