Glasgow, that has its own ballet and opera companies, also has several theatres and concert halls in and around the city for those who prefer a cultural evening out. Alternatively, one could enjoy a traditional Scottish whisky at any one of the numerous pubs, or one could dine at one of the many fine restaurants that serve cuisines from all over the world. Many clubs in the area, including some that feature live bands, are ideal for those who enjoy dancing the night away.
