Glasgow Airport first opened its doors in 1966. Run by BAA, the airport now operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, and sees an average of 20,000 passengers travelling through the terminal daily, totalling approximately 7 million passengers per year. Investment

Over £200 million has been invested over the last ten years in Glasgow Airport and its facilities. Developments include an international pier extension and a terminal extension with advanced security, significantly more space for passengers to relax in, and a greater selection of shops, restaurants, and bars.
