If you have wait for any longer than 25 sec, turn off your engine, this could end up saving you almost 30% fuel.
Another care that you can take is to avoid racing to a traffic signal. If you do get kicks by racing your car, then you better get used to another kick that is: watch your fuel gauge showing rapid decline.
