The Food Deal between North Korea and United States

United States following the program of supplying foods and other help to the countries who are malnourished and under the real threat of getting malnourished has decided to go on a talk with North Korea. North Korean communist government is trying to get the aid so as to make the people get food which is not self sufficient. But N.Korea US Food Deal has faced a serious deadlock with the problem regarding the nuclear weapon testing. The talks regarding the Food deal is not new. There was previous case of considering the US option of supplying the food bill for the development of the state. This was considered during the 2009 period but later US decided against it as there were reports of North Korean testing of nuclear missiles.

The N.Korea US Food Deal if secured will provide North Korea with 240,000 metric tones of food. This will sincerely help in eradicating the poverty that the N.Korea lives in and help in getting proper food for the citizens. The state department’s special envoy to North Vietnam Robert King is scheduled to meet the officials regarding it. North Korea also declared that they would suspend key elements of the nuclear program to meet the guidelines set by the US to get the food supply. This has eased the tension between the two countries which has been the chief source of dispute regarding the deal. Both the United States and South Korea had preciously suspended the deal with disagreements over its transparency and monitoring of the nuclear program.

Amid reports from different sections that North Korea has been actually piling up their stocks and gearing up for their nuclear program the US has given their nod for the deal to take place. There have been reports that N Korea is getting prepared if there is more heightened case of tightening sanctions over its nuclear links. N.Korea US Food Deal is all set to make a new history with the foods will be supplied on an installment basis. It has been decided that there will be initial checkup by the US to find if the job is getting done smoothly then they will give consent to more supple. Thus the ‘six party’ talks has been again given the green signal but US has been keeping a close eye on the actions taken by Pyongyang which will describe their earlier involvements with S Korea.
