Things to Do in Lloret de Mar
Many people come to Lloret de Mar to enjoy the beaches and range of nightlife but there is an increasing focus on catering to more outdoor activities, all within easy reach of the hotels in Lloret de Mar.
Tennis
There are a number of tennis courts in and around the town where players can play on either grass or clay courts which mean they are suitable for playing on all year round. The Racquet hire and individual or group lessons are available at most of the tennis centres and most are within an easy walk of the town centre.
Walking
The coastline around Lloret de Mar is very beautiful, with woods and rocky outcrops and craggy peaks. The Lloret Natura project is keen to encourage visitors to explore the region on foot and there are a number of marked trails that will allow you to explore the flora and fauna both inland and along the coast. The Lloret Nordic Walking Centre has recently opened and provides guided tours of the area and provides lessons to visitors in how to enjoy this healthy low impact activity.
Beach activities
On the Lloret’s main beach, visitors can join in with instructor-led activities such as stretching, aerobics, and aqua-aerobics every morning which are suitable for everyone, from the seriously sporty to the elderly or inactive. In the afternoon, the beach hosts tournaments in a number of sports such as beach volleyball, beach football and tennis and visitors are encouraged to join in the competition.
