These stores offer a considerable discounted price on the ink cartridges. They are very inexpensive and offer a viable alternative solution to those expensive ink cartridges. The printer ink market today is flooded with four specific types of ink cartridges- the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges, the compatible cartridges, the remanufactured and the refilled ink cartridges. All these varieties are manufactured with various specifications and are priced typically low.

As the name suggests, the compatible units, are precisely the ones to be compatible with certain printers. They might be variations in quality, but the manufacturers of the compatible units make attempt to reach the standard or speciation set by the industry or the manufacturers of the original ink. They are manufactured particularly by stationers and third party companies that specialize in dealing in office supplies.

The last one is refilled ink cartridges. These options are relatively cheaper, but the manufacturers do not guarantee about their performance. It may be even risky to use these, as the printer and/or its essential parts may be damaged. Make sure only to use your ink cartridges refilled by a professional or choose the one approved by your printer company.
