Summer Training for a Smooth Technical Career Ahead

For laying strong technical foundation students enroll themselves in courses like B.Tech, MCA and many other related courses, which require huge amount of investments. And after investing so much there is no surety of a strong technical foundation of the students. In last few year, the trend of technical education has been completely changed. The need of engineering and other technical students has dropped greatly, because of lack of quality technical professionals in the market. The number of engineering and other professional courses providing colleges has been increased disastrously. Increasing number of engineering colleges is the main reason behind this.

These colleges lacks all those important factors which are required for preparing standard engineering professionals. Most of the recently opened colleges do not have proper laboratory and technical equipments which are required for training students. These colleges take technical portion of the syllabus for granted as they do not proper arrangement which are required for quality technical training of engineering students. The students also takes their practical's and training lightly, as they knows that college is going to award them marks without making any effort.

This is the main reason why most of the engineering do not live up to the expectation of the companies. As companies expects a lot for engineering students. Nowadays, companies are considering non engineering graduates & post graduates, as they know that they have to train fresher's candidate whether the candidate is from technical ground or non technical background. So they hire simple graduates for their jobs as their salary expectation is not as high as of engineering candidates.

After, observing this declination in the demand of engineering graduates. Top leading universities has foretell to make summer training compulsory in all colleges which are affiliated to these university. Because summer training is one of the rare sure shot option for gaining sound technical knowledge on different technologies. After observing that students learn a lot about theoretical aspects of the technologes, as they have to clear semester exams based on technologies theory, but lacks practical aspects. The technical university has introduced summer training programs between the annual break between third and final year annual session as a compulsion. During this summer training students get a chance to study technologies practically. As no company works theoretically on technologies.

The major motive behind this summer training programs is that's, these universities wants students to learn professionalism during their colleges days only. As for these summer training, students have to go to companies and apply there for internship and training programs which is equivalent to apply for a job. And after getting enrolled for training, they have work under supervision trainer. During these summer training programs students works on live project to be handed over to the client within certain deadlines. During project development, students learn to work under pressure. While assisting experts and trainers on developing live project for clients students learn team work and co-ordination skills.

In short, summer training helps students in their overall development and to gain all those attainmants which they misses during their college classes. Summer training is the most crucial part of engineering life, and everybody must take this very seriously.
