How to Make Your Kid Learn Kindergarten Sight Words

There are some words specified for the kindergarten students in order to make them learn the English language. These are the basic words that they should learn in order to red the books specified for them and to start learning. Some of the words can be learnt by sight and they are called kindergarten sight words. These words are generally of high frequency which means they are used numerous times in the daily life and the kids need to know them in order to ask for things or call someone.

The words that can be categorized under this are the color words, numbers, common prepositions, articles, some verbs and connecting words. There is no specific rule for making them learn these words but in general, they are taught in a funny way or with activities so that it becomes easier for the kids to learn. For example if you need to make them learn colors you can do that with coloring digits or color balls or any object of that specific color. This will make them remember the color better and they will be able to identify them easily. In case of numbers, too you can use examples to make the kids understand..

The general words that kids learn in this phase are one, two, you, red, blue, cat, dog, to, fun, it, I, like, see, the, a, can, me, be, yes, no, and, come, go, is, look, up, at, play, are, was, this, my, be, she, for, said, has, will, we, three, four, five, six, white, green, off, sit and many more.
