He was a quiet and unusually calm kid, not because he was shy by nature but a fear and depression in his face used would show that he was not happy. The reason was his parents. The most common past time of his insensible parents was to fight like cats and dogs in front of the three year old kid. The daily activity never did anything good to the kid but has done just the reverse.

Kids who are exposed to any kind of domestic violence in their infancy often fail to bond and form safe attachments, and also result in strengthening shocked reactions and a repressed sense to explore and play. However, like everything, there are also many ways to help the kids who have witnessed domestic violence to come out of the fear and behave like other kids.

• Most schools keep the facility of school counselors who provide counseling to the students if required. School authorities can take the initiative to make those students who behave in a slightly unusual manner to go through the counseling process.

• There are many types of counseling such as play therapy, peer support groups, anger management classes and safety programs to teach children so as to make them learn how to take out themselves from unsafe state of affairs.

• Provide a safe atmosphere that the kids that do not comprise of any sort of violence after a kid has already seen domestic violence.

• Try to find ways to control the situations that do not involve any kind of name-calling, yelling, hitting, or any form of verbally or physically violent behavior.

• Help kids to make a scheduled routine that keeps their day going in a planned manner.

Parents often lose their temper and do not realize that it is leaving a negative effect on their kids, but what should be kept in mind is their kids are much more important their anger.
