By road, Pune is the closest city to Mahabaleshwar, 120 kms away, which is a 4 hour journey.

The route to the Queen of Maharashtra, Mahabaleshwar, is simple if you plan to travel there by road, by bus or in your car. Tourists find it exciting to take a road trip on bikes as well.

Lohegaon airport in Pune, Kolhapur Airport, and Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai are some of the options to travel by air.

If you wish to travel to Mahabaleshwar from Mumbai, a 6 hour journey would cost you around Rs.500 for an AC seat.
