Jaisalmer is another important city of Rajasthan, which is located deep in the Thar Desert. Also known as the Golden City, Jaisalmer is a colorful city full of many beautifully sculptured temples. The Jaisalmer Fort is the main tourist attraction which houses the Royal Palace and many Jain Temples. An annual Desert Festival in January is held here to promote the traditional art and culture of Jaisalmer.
Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan. It also houses the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a famous summer retreat destination for the people of Rajasthan. Here one can find so many Hindu temples.
