Kerala, often referred to as God’s own country, is one of the most happening holiday destinations in the country. It is situated in far south in the neighborhood of Indian Ocean. Kerala is particularly noted for its backwaters though the state also has some captivating hills (Munnar), waterfalls and wildlife sanctuaries (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary).

Kerala hotels are luxurious and come with all facilities. Kerala being a hot tourist destination, you are advised to buy a Kerala tour package and book your Kerala hotels in advance. During your trip, make sure to visit Alleppey. The region is filled with some of the best backwaters in the world. It is romantically beautiful. Munnar is another place you must definitely check out. It is a scenic hill station that will surely leave you impressed. At the backwaters, you can also enjoy a ride on the houseboat. That will definitely leave you begging for more.

Kerala also has got beaches in Kochi, Kovalam, Poovar and Alappuzha. You can even enjoy water sports at these beaches. Other famous attractions of Kerala are the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Wynaad Wildlife Reserve, Athirappily Waterfalls and Parambikulam Sanctuaruy. You can also take a day out to visit the Lakshadweep Islands situated in close proximity. Though Kerala can be visited throughout the year, the best time for a Kerala trip is during the cooler season of October-March.

There are also some great churches and restaurants which will impress you. You can also find sumptuous food in your Kerala hotels. So, travel to Kerala and have an enjoyable holiday.
