Are you looking for a tree service in Austin? Maybe your need a tree service in Georgetown, and your needing some tree trimming done. Well we have certified arborists that understand each different tree species and there requirements when it comes to trimming. Since you can cause damage to a tree that will last it's lifetime when you try to trim a tree yourself it is in your best interest to hire a company to do the work for you. Are you curious to know what kind of different trimming services you can get done? Here is a list of a few of the things that are handled be a professional tree service.
Crown Clean-out: This tends to be the most common type of tree trimming service provided which involves the removal of bad limbs from the canopy. This can be dying or dead limbs, limbs that are weekly attached limbs that cross or intersect, and ones that sprout from the canopy.
Crown Reduction: This service is not one that is normally performed but can be done as a last resort to help save a tree from having to be removed from a property. This is going to involve the removal of leader branches to help reduce either the height or the width of the tree. This is normally done when the tree is growing into electrical lines or when limbs may cause damage to a house.
Ball Moss Removal: One of the more annoying things that can happen to a tree is ball moss. You see it all over central texas in trees, especially oaks. While the moss does not cause harm to the trees it can be bad as far as aesthetics and so removal can be warranted. This is usually done as a standard part of tree trimming.
Vista Pruning: A lot of times when people build their houses in place like Lake Travis they tend to want to have a view of the lake or whatever is within sight of their porch. This is where vista pruning comes into play because a lot of times you will have trees blocking the view. Instead of removing the tree completely you can have the tree trimmed back to point where the tree no longer blocks the view.
Crown Elevation: One of the things about trees is that they grow just the way they want to and they don’t' worry about whether you have room to walk under them and things like that. One of the trimming services is the removal of low lying limbs and branches to allow room underneath the tree to walk or provide clearance for driveways.
Cabling/Bolting: This technique involves installing cables or rods to help with the structural strength of the tree. If the tree is having problems with its strength and has limbs that are at odd angles or are splitting this can be done to help prevent further problems
