Making denim work with your baby bump is never easy. Since then we’ve seen an explosion of dedicated maternity clothing retailers arrive on the scene that have made it easy to keep up-to-the-minute with the hottest trends each season, irrespective of your stage of pregnancy.

Today, you can even find the latest trend maternity jeans in major department stores as well the high street stores stocking all different styles, from low-slung hipsters to more comfortable bootleg cuts, at prices starting from as little as $50AUD. With so many options at every price point, a pair of maternity jeans is not out of anyone’s reach.

If you’re currently in your first trimester and getting full use out of your regular jeans in anticipation of six months without them, don’t despair. Maternity jeans are now very much part of a full pregnancy wardrobe.
