Facilities at Treviso Airport Venice

Treviso Airport has only one terminal but is nevertheless able to serve passengers flying in and out of nearby Venice well. Situated near the attractive town of Treviso, the airport is 19 miles from Venice and has regular buses to and from the city. Taxis are also a possibility, but at €90 to the city centre, passengers often choose the bus or train. The new modern terminal was opened in 2007 and is a vast hangar type structure, with a high and airy interior.

Arrivals

Arrivals is situated on the ground floor and it is here that the airport’s car hire desks can be found, as well as tourist information, first aid, a bureau de change and lost luggage facilities. The main hub of the airport is on the first floor, in Departures.

Departures

On the first floor are check-in facilities and baggage weigh in, as well as telephones, toilets, a large and popular cafeteria and a newspaper and souvenir shop. The café closes at 9:00 pm and the last train to Venice is at 11.45 pm.

Many Treviso Airport hotels are available in the immediate vicinity. The local Tourism office, situated on the ground floor, can advise on hotels as well as train and bus timetables.

Airside Facilities (After Security)

Once passengers are through the security barriers, other services available at the airport include duty free shopping for items such as leather goods, souvenirs, alcohol and fragrance. An additional café/bar is situated in Departures where passengers can relax with a drink whilst waiting for news of their flight. Bathrooms are available both before and after security check in.
