However, to take part in these events they need to make prior registrations between 1st November 2011 and 20th January 2012.

Prices for the participants:

The winners of the Standard Chartered Bangkok Marathon will be awarded with cash prizes.

Any male and female winner who breaks the event record will be honoured with a cash bonus of THB50, 000.

Rest of the finishers will be rewarded with commemorative medals and participation certificate.

The finishers on 1st to 5th position of each age group will be given honourable trophies.

All the participants who will be able to finish the marathon in the given time will receive T-shirts.

Travellers with air tickets to Bangkok may also participate in the 2012 Walt Disney World® Marathon.
