Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is the latest mid range smart phone model released in February 2012 in Galaxy mobile series. It is the latest model of Samsung Galaxy Ace. The significant feature is its processor and RAM capacity. Other features include assisted GPS, built in FM transmitter and wi-fi hotspot for tethering with wireless network.
It has a dual core 800 MHz processor. The RAM capacity of the Samsung Galaxy Mobile is 768 MB. The mobile has a 5 mega pixel camera with high definition video recording. The TFT touch screen dimension is 3.8 inch WVGA. It has Wi-fi and HSDPA 14.4 Mbit/s connectivity and has GPS/Glonass support. It works with Android software version 2.3. This latest mobile has an internal storage of 4 GB memory. The capacity of the external storage shall be expanded up to 32 GB. There are slots for microSD or microSDHC size memory cards.
The display resolution is 480 X 800 pixels with 246 ppi pixel density. The touch screen is capacitive, multi screen and has proximity sensor. It has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, GPS or Glonass, GSM and HSDPA connectivity for data. It supports all the four bands in GSM. Apart from HSDPA connectivity it supports GPRS, EDGE and UMTS.
For internet browsing, it supports HTML and supports flash. The mobile also has FM, stereo and you tube player. The mobile has accelerometer sensors and compass. It provides phone features like phonebook, organizer, email and messaging. The user interface is TouchWiz and has audio jack of size 3.5 mm and speaker phone. The phone supports Samsung applications.
The dimensions of the mobile are height -1118.3 mm, width – 62.2 mm and depth – 10.5 mm. The weight is 122 gram. The phone comes with Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery. The battery time varies for 2G and 3G networks. However this model has better battery times compared to other models in the smart phone range of Samsung. Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 comes in white, La Fleur, Hugo Boss Edition and black colour.
