RIM has been in news these days for working on the new BB 10 operating system this can be said to be the best OS that you can have on any BB handset as it would come with features that were never seen before. The company has been working on this new platform and it can be said that this widget would steer Blackberry among the top mobile platforms in the handset market. The company has claimed that this would be a delight for the customers and they would be astonished with the features that this platform would provide them.

The company has not been going through the best of times as there are newer handsets in the market that are more efficient than many of the BB models. The company has hence though to rejuvenate its working on the mobile segment and bring out a platform that would be a boon for the customers. At the last months annual trade show in Canada, the company revealed some of its features of the new BB10 OS. It looked pretty appealing to the users as this new OS is capable of multi tasking in a whole new way. You can access many of your application at the same time and even receive email or other notifications in the background even if you are watching a video over the internet.

The mailbox can update itself in the background and gives the feeling of a computing device. The QNX which has been responsible for developing such features on the handset said that the feature would b available on the BB handsets and tablet devices at the same time. The new software is claimed to be simple and light in terms of the memory usage of your gadget. It would involve the most of your phone physical memory that is available for the program and it would be faster and better than the previous versions.

It is noteworthy that Blackberry took a giant leap in naming this new OS. The last version to be released was the BB OS7 and now it has directly jumped to the BB10 surpassing BB OS8 or 9. It is clear that the company is definitely looking to bring out something which would be ahead of its time and technology. Some of the features that would be interesting to look out for would be the banking features and email accounts.
