Ghaziabad is an industrial and residential city situated in Uttar Pradesh and comes in the Delhi- NCR area. It is 19 kilometer east of Delhi and 46 kilometers south west of Meerut. Ghaziabad is a well planned city in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is a huge industrial city well-connected by roads and railways. It has industries such as, Maintenance of electric locomotive & EMU Trains, manufactures railway Wagons, bicycles, tapestries, glassware, pottery, paint and varnish, heavy chains, etc. it also has Bharat Heavy Electronics Limited for manufacturing defense products.

Ghaziabad has excellent transportation facilities. Ghaziabad can be easily reached by air, road and rail. The nearest airport is the Indira Gandhi International airport which is about 45 km away. By road, Ghaziabad is well-connected on all sides to Delhi, NOIDA, Hapur, Modinagar, Bulandshahar, Meerut, Saharanpur, Haridwar, etc. A large number of people travel to and from Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida and Gurgaon every day for work.
